I loved the idea that is wasn't too difficult to move around. We were able to bring this mat down to the basement even though we had to make some turns with limited space.Due to the flexibility of the mat it was a success. My daughter can now practice at home all the things she learn at the gym class(tumbling etc.). :)

I use this mat to train my daughter as a soccer goalkeeper. It is excellent for this purpose. She can can do 50 dives a night in the basement and not get injured. I love this mat.

I bought the mat for use with a home climbing gym. Specifically a type of climbing called bouldering. Most of the above doesn't quite apply to me. I was a gymnast in college, so was familiar with gym crash pads, and as I suspected this mat was much bigger than those sold for climbing and cheaper too. I was surprised by the quick shipping on such a large item and very pleased with the quality of the mat. It's just a little rigid for my uses (at least I won't have to worry about bottoming out), but it would be great for sticking a landing. I hope to be able to purchase another one soon.
