This is our 4-foot by 6-foot by 2 inch thick folding panel mat. The mat folds into 2-foot sections for storage and shipping. Mat is constructed of 2" thick 100 ILD open cell 4.5 lb. density polyurethane foam encased in a durable 18 ounce vinyl coated nylon cover.

Comments about 2" - Gymnastics Mats, folding panel - Blue - 4' x 6':
My daughter just got this for Christmas and absolutely LOVES it! It gives me the piece of mind that she is being protected while learning her stunting skills; ie, hand stands, hand stand to bridge, walk overs, etc. The mat appears very durable and just like those used in her gymnastic classes. I wish I would have purchased the 4 x 8 instead of the 4 x 6, but we can always add on at a later date as there is velcro on one end to allow ajoining mats. It folds nicely for storage. I'm sure it will see hours of use in our home.
