This is our 4-foot by 8-foot by 2 inch thick folding panel mat. The mat folds into 2-foot sections for storage and shipping. Mat is constructed of 2" thick 100 ILD open cell 4.5 lb. density polyurethane foam encased in a durable 18 ounce vinyl coated nylon cover.

We got this mat for my son for Christmas. He likes tumbling,it provides great cushion for him and his friends. The mat is well made and so far very durable. The price was also the best I found online.

Bought for my son who has cerebral palsy, so he could use it for a stretching/therapy mat. Unit is easy to move,and I feel is a very good buy for the money. Best of all it is made locally (USA)!
Product (mat) was delivered and shipped very promptly. I was surprised how quickly it arrived. No problems or damage occured during shipping either.

After looking through educational catalogs and searching on-line for tumbling mats, I found the AK Athletic site. I decided that due to the excellent reviews, I would chance buying this mat for my preschool age grandchildren. [...] During a recent visit, I was able to see the mat. I appreciate the fine quality and firm cushioning of this mat. This was a great deal for the price. My grandchildren are having a blast tumbling safely at home!
